Bleu de la
Moutonnière
A richly flavored artisanal cheese, Bleu de la Moutonnière has a smooth, slightly grainy texture. It boasts complex, fruity aromas with a farmhouse touch.
Launched in 1998, Bleu de la Moutonnière was originally aged at the Abbaye Saint-Benoît-du-Lac. Between 2000 and 2009, it was aged in underground aging cellars located on the farm. It is now aged at the new cheese dairy, a few kilometers from the sheepfold. It is the first blue-veined sheep's milk cheese to have been produced in Quebec.
