L’Affiné au Chablis

This soft, washed-rind cheese is rubbed with Chablis, a wine from the same region, giving it a typical taste and a slightly orange colour.

,Like many washed cheeses, it develops a stronger aroma than regular bloomy rind brie and other soft cheese

During the 2018/2019 World Cheese Awards (WCA), the Refined Chablis was decorated with the bronze medal.

Tasting Notes:
mild, fresh, and lightly floral with apricot notes

Drink Pairings:
dry white wines, particularly Chablis and unoaked Chardonnay, as well as Champagne or dry cider.

Food Pairings:
crusty bread, fresh figs, apples or pears, prosciutto, toasted walnuts and/or hazelnuts
