Flocon de Savoie
This cheese has a delicate, slightly nutty, and lactic flavour profile and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It features a thin, white, satiny rind and a creamy, melting heart, offering mildness and a subtle hint of fresh cream.
It was in the Alpine mountains where the snow falls in large swirls that the idea of creating a small, soft and light cheese was born... like a snowflake. The Chabert cheese dairy uses the rich milk of Savoie. The Flocon matures in the cellar to reveal a delicate pattern on its rind. To fully develop its flavour during this period, the flake is turned by hand every day.
